The first session of the 'Sell Your Skills' course being offered as part of a community partnership between NEA and Waminda Community House was held in the Events Gallery on Tuesday 14th February..
Taught by experienced Waminda trainer Sally Wallace, 'Sell Your Skills' is being offered at NEA on Tuesdays between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm from Tuesday 14th February to Tuesday 21st March. If you or someone you know might be interested, the course costs $20.
A one-day 'Train the Trainer' course being offered by Waminda in the Events Gallery on Monday 27th March from 10 am to 3.30 pm may interest NEA artisans who are keen to present workshops. Again taught by Sally Wallace - the course description reads 'Learn the skills and techniques required to engage with an audience and transfer information and knowledge - Pack a Light Lunch'.
Next Term Sally will be teaching an 'Introduction to Jewellery' Making course in which provides basic skills which future courses by NEA artisans might build upon..
