A former and founding member of NEA, Kate Jenvey is a realistic oil painter and pencil artist using nature as her inspiration. Her artistic interest began early as she grew to love and admire the animals that were part of her childhood in East Africa. Her passion for Africa remains strong and influences much of her work today. After settling in Australia, Kate’s rural lifestyle involved horses and both subjects are now entwined within her colourful paintings and intricate pencil work.
